THE SCALP-RITUAL TOOL, MADE WITH PRECISION
A scalp oil is only as good as the ritual around it.
This is the tool that completes it.
BUR BUR Growing Season Scalp Derma Roller has 192 individual titanium needles at 0.3 mm. Most rollers use a 540-needle triangular disk; BUR BUR uses individual linear needles for more precise, controlled contact with less irritation.
It is lightweight, glides without catching the hair, and is designed to be paired with the Growing Season Burdock Hair Oil as part of a weekly scalp-care ritual.
Who It's For:
- Anyone already following a regular scalp-care routine
- Growing Season Hair Oil users who want a more involved scalp ritual
- Healthy, intact scalps only
Please Do Not Use If:
- Your scalp is irritated, sunburned, cut or broken
- You have an active scalp condition (such as psoriasis, eczema, folliculitis or infection) without your doctor's approval
- You have a bleeding disorder or take blood thinners, without medical advice
Never share your roller.
Details:
- Needles: 192 individual titanium needles, 0.3 mm
- Design: Linear needle arrangement, lightweight, glides without tangling
How to Use:
- Sanitize the roller before each use with an alcohol-based sanitizer.
- Start with a clean, dry scalp.
- Part the hair into sections.
- Roll gently across each section 5 times horizontally and 5 times vertically. Use light pressure; this should never be painful.
- Follow with Growing Season Burdock Hair Oil.
- Use up to twice a week.
Care:
Spray with an alcohol-based sanitizer after each use, let it air-dry and store it in its case. Replace every 4 to 6 months, or sooner if the needles look bent or dull.
Loshen & Crem's Recommendation:
We respect the skin, and the scalp is skin. Our advice: start gently, once a week, and see how your scalp responds before increasing. Some clients feel a temporary itch or tingle the first few times; persistent redness or discomfort means stop.
More pressure and more often is not better. Consistency and hygiene matter far more.
Questions We Get About the Growing Season Derma Roller
Will the derma roller make my hair grow?
We prefer to be precise. This is a cosmetic scalp-care tool that stimulates the scalp and pairs with your scalp oil. It is not a treatment for hair loss. If you notice sudden or significant shedding or thinning, please speak with your doctor or a dermatologist.
Does it hurt?
At 0.3 mm with light pressure, it should feel like a gentle prickle. If it hurts, stop and use less pressure.
Should I use it before or after the oil?
Roll on a clean, dry scalp, then apply the Growing Season Hair Oil.
How often can I use it?
BUR BUR recommends twice a week with a scalp oil. We suggest beginning once a week.
When should I replace it?
Every 4 to 6 months.
Where can I buy BUR BUR in Canada?
BUR BUR Growing Season Scalp Derma Roller is available at Loshen & Crem online and at our Edmonton, Alberta boutique.
