A Simple Skincare Routine for Long-Term Skin Health
A useful skincare routine has a clear purpose and fits into your day. You can begin with cleansing, moisturizing and sun protection, then decide whether anything else earns a place.
Morning: keep the essentials close
Choose gentle cleansing according to your skin’s needs, followed by a suitable moisturizer and broad-spectrum SPF 30 or higher. Follow your sunscreen’s application and reapplication directions; clothing and shade also matter when you are outdoors.
Evening: make it easy to repeat
Remove makeup and the day’s build-up with a gentle cleanser, then moisturize. Add a treatment only when you know what it is for and how to use it with the rest of your routine.
The American Academy of Dermatology supports this simple foundation. More products can mean more cost and more opportunity for irritation, without necessarily making a routine more useful.
Before buying another product
- What concern am I trying to address?
- Do I already own something with the same purpose?
- Will this replace a step or add one?
- Do I understand its directions and precautions?
These questions help us recommend more thoughtfully, too. At Loshen & Crem, we welcome the products already on your shelf into the conversation.
A routine can change without starting over
Check in when a product stops feeling comfortable or your priorities change. We can help you compare textures and simplify the next step. Persistent symptoms or a suspected skin condition deserve medical assessment.
Ask us to help build your routine. We will start with what you need and what you enjoy using.
