Fond de teint Flawless

I purchased Buff color. Don’t like the color.
It’s tone-down-yellow, I prefer glowy look but this one is more like matte side. I used a little pump which gives me a good medium coverage so if you use more, it definitely builds a high coverage.

For a skincare brand, I didn’t have high hopes for the makeup, but once I tried this I was in LOVE!!! The formula is incredibly skin friendly and acne friendly, and the finish is natural and skin-like. It surprisingly offers very good medium to full coverage. It reminds me of a NARS alternative, but better ingredients. Only downside is that they lean toward being more golden and neutral, so if you’re a very pink undertone, you may not find a match. This is wearable and beautiful, but I would color match at the boutique before purchasing. The concealer is lovely too. Really happy with my purchase!

I guess I expected more from this foundation. Somehow I thought it might be sheerer (like BR Serum Teinte). It is not - definitely full coverage so if that’s what you’re going for, this might be for you. I was also hoping the colour would be perfect (I’m usually the second lightest shade in most ranges - for reference, I use #2 in Serum Teinte and it gives just the right amount of warmth) but I selected the shade Buff in this and it gives me that ghostly, almost sick look. I thought Dusk looked too dark but maybe it would have been the better choice. More accurate colour descriptions and photos are needed. The other 2 issues I have are with the pump dispensing too much product (difficult to control yet you need so little because of it’s fairly thick consistency and heavier coverage) and the fact that it comes off too easily with sweat/oil. On the plus side, it does look good on the skin and offers healthy ingredients. I would recommend if the negatives don’t bother you but I’ll probably stick with BR.

I am 63 and this foundation is very smoothing. It does not appear to settle into my fine lines and wrinkles. The color stays true throughout the day and it evens out my complexion.
